Casey Carruthers began dancing at a young age training at The Academy of Dance and Gymnastics and later continued at Denise Wall's Dance Energy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She studied and graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2013, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in economics and minoring in dance. 

She began performing professionally at the age of 18 for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Her credits also include: second company member for Giordano Dance Chicago, dancer/aerialist for The Smoky Mountain Opry, dancer/aerialist for RWS Entertainment Group and Holland America Cruise Lines. She has performed in Orlando as a part of Drapinski Dance Company and for major corporate special events. Currently, Casey has been on staff as the lead jazz instructor with Viera Dance Conservatory for the past seven years. There, she has also been choreographing for their competitive team, earning multiple choreography awards and high scores. She is also a yoga instructor: certified 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through YogaWorks and Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher through Yoga Education Institute and Yoga Alliance. Casey is a guest choreographer and has been judging dance competitions across the country for the last 5 seasons. She currently resides in Orlando, FL with her husband and two children.
