LAUREN FRODERMAN

Lauren Froderman, based in Los Angeles, began dancing at an early age and started her professional career at 12 years old with an emphasis on contemporary and jazz dance movements. In 2010 she competed and won the seventh season of “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox and went on a national tour with them that fall. Following her time on the show she continued on to be featured in national magazines and was the first official dance athlete sponsored by Gatorade. In 2013 she rejoined the “So You Think You Can Dance” cast as an All Star for the first time and continued to do so for several years following. Lauren has also appeared in films and on network and streaming shows including The Ellen Show, Glee, Fuller House, and Atypical. She has also moved into directed and choreographing with a special interest in concept and music videos in LA. Alongside her years of performing live as well as on film and television she has also traveled across the country teaching on conventions and workshops since 2011. Lauren has a passion for educating and inspiring young dancers so they can also pursue their artistic endeavors. Most recently, she has just signed on to teach commercial jazz for the dance department at Loyola Marymount University in LA.
