MaryAnn Chavez is a Southern California native, professional dancer, choreographer and dance educator. MaryAnn has been in the commercial dance industry for 10+ years and has traveled the world teaching. She has worked with brands such as Disney Channel, Apple Music, Forever 21, Splash Water, Microsoft and Under Armour. She has danced alongside Sophia Carson, One Republic and FINNEAS. MaryAnn has worked as a choreographers assistant for Halsey, Bella Poarch and DWTS Maks, Val and Peta. Her most recent choreographic work may be seen in Netflix’s Vivo animation music video “Beat of My Own Drum” feat. Missy Elliot and also EDM superstar, Elderbrook, tour visual's. Her passion is teaching and loves to blend her hip hop and contemporary background into a contemporary fusion style. MaryAnn has been able to teach in Argentina, Denmark, Malta, Italy and Canada. She also has weekly slots and subbing opportunities at top studios in Los Angeles such as Movement Lifestyle and TMILLY. MaryAnn is co-owner of industry prep program company, Lume Dance alongside Monika Felice Smith and pours into their students with mentorship and guidance in the industry.
